Build Your Own Trials Course

Building your own course couldn't be easier nowadays. All you need are a few things to hop onto and hop off of. Okay, it's not all that easy. There are a lot of things that you need to remember.

One thing is to only build things that you and other people can do. Don't set up drops that no one would want to have a go at. Build it to your level of difficulty. There are a lot of things that are for beginners and lots for the pro's as well.

If you want to you can even set up a speed trials course where two riders do exactly the same sections side by side and try to go as fast as they can. For something like that you will need some washable paint or chalk to make guide lines so that the riders don't go on each others side of the course. If you are going to do it in the street make sure you wash the paint of afterwards.

If you are still stuck for ideas then have a look at some of these suggestions of things you can use.

1. things like walls and ledges

2. rocks and boulders (if you can find any)

3. steps and slopes

4. drop-off things like recycling bins and benches

5. concrete bollards.

There is no end to the things you can build.

SO GO OUT AND GET RIDING!

Warning!

There are a few things you need to remember. Keep out of the way of pedestrians. Also if you are told to move, do so and find somewhere else to ride.
