My Bike
My bike is a custom made Raleigh Cromo 2 trials. It has been made by me and has all new components.
The new 2000 edition RST 281 Tl forks offering 2.5-3" of adjustable travel. They are not the best forks on the market but are very good for the price (£90) so they suit me just fine. They give a little shock on the front which is what I was going for without spending too much money.
The frame is a light weight alloy frame which is suited for trials/dual slalom riding. it is quite a cheap version of the rocket bikes but when bought second hand it is not too bad (I paid around £200).With a new paint work it makes the frame look very pro! It was all scratched when I first bought it so I gave it a little make over.
With a full Shimano setup it makes shifting very smooth but could still do with a little adjusting. Other components include a 2001 Sram 6.0 brakes. SR Suntour cranks and VP 566 pedals. Club Roost Go faster bars and a Ballistic CNC box stem complete the front end.
Good: Good light weight frame and components
Bad: Takes a long time to build.
