Trials Tricks

Become a pro trials rider with my trials tricks!

Before we start you on the tricks you need to now the most vital part of trials, the Trackstand. If you allready know how to trackstand then you can skip this section out. The basic idea of the trackstand is to balance on the spot, readying yourself for the section ahead. You have to try to balance without using the brakes. First do this on slight upward slope as it will help. Come to a stop and turn you bars to you leading foot. If you feel yourself fall then dab you pedals up and down just slightly so you stay upright. Good. Now you can tackle the real tricks.

The Endo:

The endo is about as useful as having no wheels but can be used in many other tricks. It is the easiest trick to learn. It consists of getting the back wheel in the air and balancing on the front for a while. There are a few ways of doing endo's but the best way is to do it the proper way.

Once you can do a simple endo you can change it slightly like a one footer or a 360. Also practice falling off and getting off it the right way.

The Wheelie:

The wheelie is another easy but vital trick to learn. It is just riding along on your back wheel. It is the opposite of the endo. It is all in the first pedal stroke.

It is easier if you are beginning to raise your saddle because it is easier to wheelie with your legs straight. And also practice falling off the back of the bike and landing on your feet, as it will improve your confidence.
